Sweater Weather

Jumper - Pull&Bear // Jeans - Vero Moda // Boots - Raid // Bag - Topshop
It is well and truly sweater (or jumper) weather here in the UK. We had an unseasonably mild day last Friday and the clocks went back an hour on Sunday signalling the official end of summer. As the clocks changed, so did the weather. The sun is still shining and it's not raining (yet) but it's definitely a lot colder.

Over the years I've bought many a jumper, and to be honest, I don't ever think I'll stop. As much as I hate the cold, I love jumpers because they are so warm and cosy. I bought this jumper by Pull&Bear (through ASOS) recently and I love it. It's actually way too big - a lot bigger than the oversized fit I usually go for but I think it still works. The jeans are by Vero Moda, they are super high waisted in a stretchy fabric with a cute zip detail on the legs. These boots are also new and my current obsession - they are by a brand called Raid and I can't stop wearing them! Click the brand's name under the last image to shop the look!

I'm also making an effort to add colour to my autumn wardrobe. I find it so easy to style and wear black and it also becomes my default - but this Autumn/Winter I want to wear more colour. This bag is from Topshop and I think it's a great start xo

Season Transition: Mustard + Stripes

Jumper - Topshop // Trousers - Zara // Heels - ASOS // Clutch - H&M (old) // Earrings - ASOS
As mentioned in my previous posts (here and here), my summer staple this year were my striped trousers from Zara. I wore them several times, for so many different occasions. I just couldn't bring myself to stop wearing them when the weather turned a bit colder; so, what do you do when you're not quite ready to stop wearing your summer clothes? Just add a jumper!
I bought the jumper from Topshop and I absolutely love it (FYI items are linked under last picture!) The colour is so beautiful and very autumnal, with statement sleeves that you can't help but love. I can definitely pull this look of now as we're having quite mild weather in London at the moment, but I know in a few weeks I'll have to pack my summer things away for another year xo

Dressed Down: White Off Shoulder Top

Top - Zara // Skirt, Sandals & Sunglasses - ASOS // Bag - Vintage
Dressed down, I paired the top with a midi skirt, gold lace up sandals and a vintage brown bag for a chic daytime look. I've actually had the bag for a long time (first shown here) - the thing I love about vintage pieces is that they are often timeless and can be worn over and over again for a long time xo

Dressed Up: White Off Shoulder Top

Top & Trousers - Zara // Shoes & Sunglasses - ASOS
Here is the white off shoulder top that I mentioned in my previous post where I was showcasing the same top in pink - yup I loved it that much! Summer is coming to an end in the UK but I'm holding onto those few days of sunshine we have left. I bought these floral crop trousers from Zara a few months ago. They are super high waisted and hug you in all the right places, with flared legs. Both the sunglasses and shoes are from ASOS and are old purchases xo

(Off) White Jeans

Crop top - Zara // Jeans - Missguided // Sandals - London Rebel // Bag - Luigi Collection
I met up with a friend in Brick Lane and I wore white jeans for the first time - or for the first time that I can remember, and I didn't get them dirty! When it comes to white clothes I always get a bit paranoid about getting them dirty; I've seen way too many people wearing white jeans/trousers with a stain on the back after sitting on something soiled. I was so worried about this happening that I sat on my scarf the whole day lol! It's safe to say my paranoia paid off and I came home without a speck on me. We also stepped into an amazing chocolate shop called Dark Sugars that sells handmade chocolates, truffles and vegan treats. If you're ever in the area give them a visit, the chocolates are delicious and even if you don't buy/taste anything the smell is divine!
The jeans are by Missguided and I bought them through ASOS for £12 down from £20. They are described as off white on the website but when they arrived they looked pretty white to me. I thought they would pair nicely with the frilled crop top from Zara which was also on sale, I bought it for £5.99 down from £17.99 - can somebody say bargain! The top and jeans are linked under the last picture. The sandals are by London Rebel which were purchased a few years ago and the bag is by a brand called Luigi Collection and belongs to my mum xo

Dressed Down: White Off Shoulder Top

For a dressed down look I paired the top with my favourite jeans - I bought these Mom jeans from Topshop 3 years ago and I first showcased them in this post. Over the years they have kept their shape and colour and still fit me very well. I felt a kind of modern day 90s vibe with this outfit, which I finished off with my current favourite footwear, Stan Smiths. I had a lot of fun with this shoot as you can tell with the amount of pictures hahaa xo

Dressed Up: Pink Off Shoulder Top

I've been loving the off shoulder trend this summer - although summer hasn't really been summer here in the UK as we've had nothing but grey, wet weather for the past 2 weeks. Despite the autumnal vibes recently, I couldn't help but put together these outfits featuring this amazing top from Zara. Zara is fast becoming a favourite of mine as everything in this look is from there - however the only recent purchase is the top, everything else is from last year. I love this top so much, I have it in white as well! xo

Dressed Down: Striped Trousers

Trousers - Zara // Top - H&M // Bag - Urban Outfitters // Sunglasses - Urban Outfitters // Sandals - Office
I've become ever so slightly obsessed with these mirror sunglasses so you should just get used to seeing them because they're gonna be around a lot this summer haha! For this look I paired the trousers with a plain grey v-neck tee and sliders for a super casual outfit. I actually have this bag in 2 colours because I adore it so much, it comes with a detachable strap so can be worn on the shoulder or as a clutch xo

Dressed Up: Striped Trousers

Top and trousers - Zara // Sunglasses - Urban Outfitters // Heels and clutch - New Look
I've come up with a new concept for my blog called 'Dressed Up, Dressed Down'. What I'll be doing is taking an item of clothing and creating 2 outfits; one dressed up for a special occasion or event and the other will be dressed down for a casual daytime outfit.
First up are these cropped trousers from Zara! I am in love with these trousers and they have easily become my favourite summer staple. The stripes on the trousers are actually navy but it's very hard to tell. For this first outfit I've dressed them up and paired them with a black boatneck tshirt and nude heels. I wore a similar outfit recently to a wedding and I loved how it looked xo

Nip + Fab Kale Fix Moisturiser

I have combination skin - so I have an oily t-zone and the rest of my skin is dry. For the longest time it was hard to find a moisturiser that worked for me. I've tried products for oily skin that just completely dried my face, and I've tried things for combination skin which just made my face even oilier. So when I discovered that a product designed for dry skin works wonders for me, I was shocked.
I first received Nip + Fab Kale Fix Moisturiser as a free sample with an order I placed with them. I was a bit apprehensive about using it at first because it's advertised as a product for dry skin and thought that it would make my face look like an oil slick. However, as my usual face cream was finished I thought I'd give it a try and I was not disappointed. This product leaves my skin so soft and hydrated without drying or over moisturising. The moisturiser is quite thick so a little goes a long way, but in no way does it feel heavy on the skin. It's easily absorbed, smells amazing and lasts all day.
It contains so many amazing ingredients that help soothe and rejuvenate the skin, such as, aloe vera, cucumber and shea butter. Before using this product I was actually using raw shea butter, which I still stand by and highly recommend if this is out of your price range. But for anyone looking for a new product to try to combat dry skin this winter, definitely give this a try. I love it so much I've ordered their Kale Fix Clay Mask which I cannot wait to try xo
